All runners are given a disposable chip - runners take the chip home. The name of the participant is displayed on large monitors as he or she crosses the finish line. In addition, names and times are shown on large monitors the instant the runner crosses the finish line.
Uberthons produced and timed events in Seattle and Portland during 2011 at amazing venues. Some of the venues were:
- Heron Lakes Golf Club.

- Portland International Raceway
- Champoeg Park
- Cook Park with Durham and Tualatin Parks
- Magnuson Park in Seattle
Events scheduled in 2012 include these venues and more. Events you will not want to miss are:
- Two Mothers/Daughters Mothers' Day Saturday events will be held in Southeast and Southwest Portland.
- July 4th Firecracker Run.
- The Portland Turkeython Series promises to be the largest event in the area.
- An NCAA running event will occur in Corvallis, Oregon on October 19 in the afternoon. This event is the Oregon State University Homecoming Run - the First Annual. The whole town will be involved, and you will not want to miss the festivities!
During 2011, three Uberthons events received local television coverage. Because Uberthons event participants have asked, Uberthons will bring about 30 events to the Portland area and 10 or more to the Seattle area during 2012. We love what we do!

Facebook Event Notice - Dear friends, I want you to know about some events in which I am participating this year. Yes, my favorite pastime - running and sometimes walking! Uberthons, a Portland area event company has several events in the next two months that will be fun events. The Luckython in Tigard is a much smaller event than the 20,000-person Shamrock. Do both. One Saturday, and one Sunday. On March 17, Uberthons is unveiling a total of three touchscreen monitors that show instant results on the Uberthons webpage. Designed for Uberthons by Sherwood resident, Nate Anderson, there is only one company in the world that uses the UberResultsSystem. Instant results on the website as you cross the finish line. And, each runner gets his or her own webpage with results, previous results, and pictures. And, a total of 9 monitors with the runners' timing results at the race site. Since you are receiving this Facebook Event via my Facebook Event page, I just won a pair of Uberthons Running Socks! Thanks for reading, and join me in one of these fantastic events. Go to www.uberthons.com, or send me a note. And, join me as a LIKER on Uberthons facebook page by LIKING the page at www.facebook.com/uberthons.
And, if your situation does not allow you to be active in an Uberthons event because the economy has taken your 'extra' money away, Uberthons will pay for the registration. Email them at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and say the word Uberthons Event Scholarship in your note, and it will happen for you, because we believe a registration fee is not as important as someone being active. For Fun, For Competition, For Fitness.
Kellie's instructions on how to send a Facebook Event to her Facebook friends:
I just selected "home" on my fb screen, then clicked "events" on the left then Create Event on the upper part of my screen which opened an event window. The I copied and pasted information from the main event page from Uberthons :-) I was then provided a list of all my friend and I was able to select them individually and of course I selected the folks I predict the highest response from.
