Trick-or-Treatathon - 10k & 5k Run/Walk

This event is for those that want to complete a 10k or 5k either running or walking.  

In this inaugural event, run a 5k or 10k.

The course will be a 5k through the golf course. The race begins at 1 pm sharp for 5k, 10k. CLICK HERE for a course map.

The Oregon Chapter serves more than 7,300 individuals with MS and their families in Oregon and SW Washington. We help people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing 
programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.

And, a Kids Race.  The Kids Race is on the grassy fareway, and is 1.0 kilometer - long enough for an adult!  Small goblins will run a shorter route.

Goblin Costume Contest - Little kiddos can come dresses as a goblin, Casper, Mickey Mouse, or any type of costume.  Please no masks. Judges will award prizes to all kids, and will make a super effort in helping the kids have fun.

Kids Shirts - Yes.  This event will be remembered year after year.  A cotton kids shirt will be given to each UberKid (Lil' Gooblin).

Trick or Treats - of course, again!


pumpkinsPumpkin Carving Contest - Kids, adults, teens - bring your previously-carved pumpkin to enter into the

OREGON JACK O'LANTERN CARVING CONTEST.  

Local celebrities will judge the Jack o'lanterns with all kinds of criteria.  Prizes for the pumpkins judged to be 'Best.'  Ribbons for all entries.  


Additional Information

Parking - you may park anywhere in the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club parking lot.

Course directors - The event is managed by Uberthons with the help of trained event directors who have given of their time to make this an outstanding event, and others who have given of their time to be trained.

Shirts - Of course.  A Dry-fit shirt for every paying adult participant.  This is a Signature Series event.  Signature_on_Manican

Timing equipment - Uberthons uses Jaquar timing equipment. Overhead RFID antennas capture your time using disposable chips that are fastened to the back of your racing bib. Take the chips home with you - you will not be asked to return the chips. And, absolutely no old-style, old-fashioned mats to run over (this is the 21st century!).  Wear your bib on the upper chest to maximize the chip reads. Valuables - you should not bring valuables to the venue. No volunteers will take your possessions; no storage for any article at the event site.

Race course - You will test this course! First time. Never-been-done-before event. Directional signs are used to guide runners at over 60 points - you will not get lost.  Volunteers on the course are trained to show you the way!  Water stations and Hot Apple Cider stations are positioned on the course with a final station at the finish line. For your safety, absolutely no strollers, dogs, bikes, inline skates are allowed on the course. Each mile is clearly marked on the course. Please do not ask the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Course folks to allow you to walk or run the course prior to the event.

Weather - October 27th weather historically has been Halloween weather. Dress appropriately.  Bring an extra monster cape.

Photos - An event photographer director will coordinate photos stations at several points along the course. These photos are free, and may be downloaded from the facebook page www.facebook.com/uberthons and from the website.

Volunteering - Famous Footwear and Washington County Child Abuse Prevention Awareness teams are providing the volunteers for these events. A training meeting for all volunteers will be held two weeks prior to the event.

Bib Pick-up- You may pick-up your bibs and chips at Famous Footwear store in Beaverton, OR - on Thursday, October 25 between 4 PM and 8 PM.  Address is

Day-of-event registration - Just $5.00 more per event.

  • Results will be posted on this webpage throughout the event as participants are finishing.
  • See your individual results streaming instantly on touchscreen monitors and on the UberLeadersBoard near the timers tent at the finish line.

Uberthons - Uberthons is a complete event-management company. With several timing systems in place, Uberthons can produce and time events with thousands of runners and walkers. All runners are given a disposable chip - runners take the chip home. The name of the participant is displayed on large monitors as he or she crosses the finish line. In addition, names and times are shown on large monitors the instant the runner crosses the finish line.

Uberthons produced and timed events in Seattle and Portland during 2011 at amazing venues. Some of the venues were:
