Join us for this 5K Walk/Run event that supports Royal Family Kids Camp and Teen Reach Adventure Camp of Yamhill County, summer camp experiences for foster children ages 7-15. SEND A FOSTER KID TO CAMP, ONE STEP AT A TIME.

This is an event that provides a healthy, fun activity for the whole family. Come participate in this non-competitive, kid-friendly event that winds through the Newberg neighborhoods north of 99W.  A timer is provided for our more serious runners.

The For The Kids 5k, presented by ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP (RFKC) OF YAMHILL COUNTY - which includes a muffin, bagel, fruit, and chocolate milk breakfast, medal, and so much more for each participant invites you to join the fun on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.

 

This year’s race is just $30 per registrant – it will be worth it!  And, $15 for students.  The fee will be $35 for latecomers after June 1, 2018.

   

The For The Kids 5k will start and end:

2315 Villa Road

Mountainview Rd entrance of Newberg Christian Church. Parking is available via the Villa Road entrance

and the breakfast station is at the same location!  The bagels and muffins are professionally cooked by . . . professional bagel and muffin cooks, of course. 

 

 

Finisher medals for all finishers.

RFKC is dedicated to creating positive memories for abused and abandoned children ages 7-11, now residing in foster care.  We provide a week-long overnight summer camp experience that is specifically designed for these at-risk children.  With a trained and vetted staff, we provide 5 days for them to feel safe, have fun, and be unconditionally loved - all in the great outdoors.

ABOUT TEEN REACH ADVENTURE CAMP (TRAC) OF YAMHILL COUNTY

TRAC is committed to creating positive memories for abused and abandoned teens ages 12-15, now residing in foster care.  We provide a 3 day, separate gender overnight summer camp experience that is specifically designed to help at-risk teens by creating an environment where they can feel safe, have fun, be shown how valuable they are, and learn valuable life skills.
