Photos

Beautiful photo opportunities are everywhere within Cook Park. The Turkeython will supply a Turkeython photo magazine-cover photo-op.   Bring your camera and have the Uberthons volunteer take your picture.  Be sure to hashtag #turkeython, #uberthons.

Costumes

Yes!

5k Run/Walk

Starts in Cook Park at the big gazebo.  You will run into Tualatin and Durham parks and finish at the same location as the start.

The fast people will start at the front of the pack, and, the good-looking people will start towards the rear of the pack. You may run or walk.

Mini pies for all 5k finishers. (5k finishers only please.)

That's right!  Every Turkeython tries to refresh you, but, does not try to fill you up.  To get filled up, you will want to register for Uberthons other events - CLICK HERE

Toy Drive

Please bring a small toy to the event. Toys will be donated to Doernbecher Children's Hospital.

Results

The Tigard Turkeython is chip timed.  This means that every participant in the 5k will get their own start time and finish time.  Results will be posted instantly on www.results.uberthons.com.

WEAR YOUR BIB ON THE FRONT OF YOUR BODY.  This works best for photos and for accurate results.

Parking

Parking is free at Cook Park and in the nearby streets and neighborhoods.  We have hired a parking attendant to make sure all cars are parked in the right spots.  Please follow their directions or you will be asked to leave without participating in the Turkeython.

There is a chance the main parking lot will fill up.  If it does get filled up, there is plenty of street parking up by Tigard High School on 92nd Ave.  Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to park and pick up your bibs if you were not able to on Wednesday.  Those coming for the 10:00 race, there will likely be open spots down in the main parking lot by the time you arrive.

Medals

Pick up your medal after your race.  You must have a 5k race bib on to receive a medal.

Parents may purchase a kid's medal for the Kidathons race for $10 at Packet Pick Up, or at the event.

We have special hand-crafted plaques for the top 3 overall participants, both male and female.

Age group pins will be available under the large gazebo with Uberthons Hall of famer Eileen.  Thank you Eileen.

Volunteers

Appreciate the volunteers.  Some have been up since midnight getting things ready to help you enjoy yourself on Thanksgiving morning.

Upcoming Uberthons Events

The next events are:

Winter Uberthons event - Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, 5k.  All at the Reserve Vineyards & Golf Course in Aloha Oregon on January 18, 2020.

Chocolatathon

If you can say Chocolatathon really fast, you can run this 5k.  Tigard Cook Park hosts this annual event. And, yes, it is about the chocolate.
